the only time a nuke has been used i war was in ww2 (in japan). we still mostly kill one another with guns, not nukes. missiles, however, drastically changed how wars are fought.

Ummm, spoiled? good old wars?? What kind of sicko are you? I seriously hope you don't really mean that. When you say spoil you are implying it had been a good thing at one point of time. Have you EVER experienced a war first hand? Obviously not, or wouldn't talk stupid like that. Your so-called "good old wars" were disgusting brutal bloodsheds (revolutionary, civil war, WWI, WWII)
I really hope you were just trying to provoke.

War spoiled? you mean like it's not fun the way it used to be in the good old days when you could napalm someone, or blow them to bits or cut them to pieces with a sword, or use poison gas on them???

AAh... those were the good old days... when wars lasted for decades, populations starved, more soldiers died from disease than from wounds and you could face your enemy eye to eye... and both be blown away by a stray shell.

All wars are supposed to be nasty, horrible and unpleasant - nuclear war is just a quicker way to kill more people but its just as nasty as a lingering death from gangrine or any other wound.

No. You can enlist and go fight in Iraq. There won't be any nukes involved. It won't spoil it for you.
The Muslims are still fighting the same old war since the crusades so you should be very happy there.

Good old days are gone because history shows us that each new weapon is used. There is no musuem on this planet that displays a "new" weapon that was not used. Nuclear weapons will be used again. It is just a matter of time.

how can war be spoiled, that would imply that it was good before. War has no redeeming qualities. Therefore it can not spoil

Nuke are DETERRANTS and the world tries to balance threats by acheiving PARITY-that's why some countries should NOT have nukes-they don't want to play fair...
