i would be too busy to see him..use work as an excuse..if his visits are truly upsetting to you, tell him you don't want to see him because you don't enjoy his visits or his company--tell him, if he can ever learn to be less rude and more pleasant, and not such a know it all, you might consider seeing him in the future, if he can learn to behave better...otherwise, refuse to see him...i have done that with my brother who is insulting, rude, and obnoxious to mention a few of his qualities, oh and very arrogant, about what, beats me...i have finally had enough, and refuse to have anything to do with him at all...this did not come about lightly..life is too short to put up with crap from relatives, especially those that supposedly love you !! just my opinion..good luck to you in whatever you decide.....

Hug him and enjoy each day that is closer to him leaving and remember this is his personality and he loves you ! My son and his brother were a few years apart .When my son went to visit they argued about a girl they met . My young son 18 called me , I said Your brothers and don't see each other much , you better think is she worth the visit ,They had a great 3 weeks after that .My older son hugged him goodbye and said I love you , come back soon .One week later we ,my son & I received a phone call , my other son was killed in a car accident . Welcome your rude smary brother ! You'll find a middle ground . Family is family good , bad , from birth to death .

smarty and rude eh..... he sounds like an absolute philistine. I just abhor rudeness and smartyness. If he came to my town and beat the living s--- out of him
