I think most pugs are prone to allergys because of the shape of their faces. it has somthing to do with the nasal passages. I know a lot of people that have them and they all say the same thing. I had one and it had the same problem. they are the sweetest little dogs one could ever own. God Bless you for your concern. If you have any doubts you might want to take him to a vet and have it checked out. Good luck.

yes, well my dog is half pug half beagle (a puggle) but yes he does seem to have a cold often, he sneezes a lot and has a runny nose but i think maybe its just allergies i dont know. It only lasts for a couple days normally. During those days he sleeps alot, like a person who is sick. I keep him well hydrated and warm under a cozy blanket, that seems to do the trick. After that hes back to himself again. If it gets unusually bad take him/her to the vet good luck :)

My best freind has a pug, it always seems like its nose is stuffed. It is because of the way there face is flat.

Pugs, as a breed, have many health problems. They grunt and snore and act like their lungs are completely clogged. They get joint problems as they age due to their stick legs and big bellies.
