I ask this cause a girl I chat with sometimes said she was in Prison right now.

Is she insinuating that she is an inmate? That is very unlikely. Father Chuck is right in his answer to you. She probably is employed at the prison--they have internet access 24/7.

i have heard of prisoners having that access. People in prison sometimes live better then we do. they dont have to work, they get free meals, the have exercise rooms, T.v., and computers, they can go to college for free. I however like my fredom too much.

Yes, in some situations prisoners can have internet access in their cells.

normally no ( at least in any prison I have ever had any knowledge of) I guess it could be possible but normally since crimes can be committed online, and/or confidential info could be given out, I don't beleive it is commom.
My guess she she is not but that is just an opinion.

prisoners should not get anything.most of em live better than the people on the outside..ie.. cable tv computers etc..when they should rot in jail.
