You, yourself hit on the problem, that is the democratic party. This is the most disorganized gaggle of misfits this country has ever known. I can't even imagine these clowns coming up with a candidate the American people would trust.
Granted, George Bush has had his moments. He spends entirely too much money, he has no real answers to improve the economy and the whole world hates him. That is, if you're a democrat.
You see, the democrats get their impetus from world opinion. It doesn't matter whose opinion it is. The opinions of countries such as Syria, Iran, N.Korea, China, Russia are just as viable to the democrats, because they're able to play off them. They can help exacerbate an issue by keeping up the same drumbeat as our enemies. They don't care that they divide the country and confuse its citizens. They need to gain momentum, and if is the only way they can do it, then so be it.
The truly loyal and dedicated Americans have not lost sight of 9/11, and as far as many of us can see, it won't be avenged until al Queda, Osama bin laden and his ilk are history.

Is it possible that people still beleive the lie that our government created about the cause of the events that occurred on 9/11?? Arab murderers?? Come on people. Wake up and get a clue. OUR GOVERNEMENT carefully executed each and every event that occurred that day. Just a simple hour of research can easily prove that. Check out 911truth.org or Question911.com or any site for that matter that has done even minimal investigation into the events that happened that day. I have not forgotten and will never forget the innocent people whose lives were taken by our government. I will never forget the day when I realized what horrible people run this country. This has nothing to do with your so called "arab murderers". Do you believe everything you are told? I am shocked by the ignorance of some people.

Not all Americans - But you are right, it does seem like there are a lot of people forgetting we were attacked by a fanatical group of guys - countries of origin vary - but they all attacked this country - The United States of America - Some people throw that idea out with their morning paper - It is time for the real Americans to start standing up for this country and it's Constitution. They are too worried about whether they are liberal or conservative - Democrat or Republican - It is time to stop the silly bickering of political designations and the AMERICAN VOTER needs to make the changes happen in Washington D.C. - not through protest and debate, but at the voting booth - It is as plain as the sky above that a majority of the politicians are there for personal power and gain - The American people need to get their original Constitution back and force their representatives in Washington to abide by it, not change it and give power over to Executive Orders - We are no longer a nation of free thinkers we have let the politicians do the thinking for us. Thanks for the soap box time. Yes several have forgotten 9/11, but not me!

As a Democrat and a proud American, I have to disagree with you. I speak for myself and for the Democrats that I know agree with me ... we would like to see nothing more than Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda brought to justice. The families of deceased 9/11 victims and the surviving victims of 9/11 deserve some sort of closure on that horrible event. I'm not sure how you have gotten the impression that people, as you say namely Democrats, have taken the attitude that terrorists are "nice people." I don't think I've ever heard anyone say that or make any such statement in this forum either. I think media "spinners" like to take statements out of context and skew them to support their own views in attempts to make Democrats look bad. A lot of people do that in this forum. And it works.
The events of 9/11 were horrible. I remember the anger and sadness I felt when I saw the attack reports on television. I hope the victims will receive justice. I know that they will certainly never forget those events.

The September 11 attack is definitely something to remember. However, don't think that this was the greatest or only attack of this kind and that things like this only go one way. Think of attacks on places like the entirety of northern Vietnam, Berlin, Hamburg, Dresden, Tokyo, Nagasaki, Hiroshima, London, Rotterdam, Warsaw, Addis Ababa, and Shanghai. In each of these cases, far more than 3000 people, most of whom were all working, resting, minding their own business, going to school, playing, in other words, MINDING THEIR OWN BUSINESS, were crushed, blasted, burned alive, and otherwise had their lives snuffed out. Yes the September 11 attack in New York was terrible and innocents died, but it is far from the most earthshaking event to happen this century and is also far from the worst or most horrible thing to happen this century.

It is not that we have forgotten, but the real part of life is that we have to move on. If we are unable to move forward then the terrorist have won. Is it sad? Yes. Do we need justice? Yes. But the truth is that most people only watched it on TV, and while it means a lot, not seeing it first hand, it becomes easier to deal with and move on. Also America is not about one type of people, most people who are not affected directly have an easier time to forgive. But ask those that were there, and I bet they will tell you a different story.

I will never forget the events that transpired on 911.
What makes me ill about it the most is how this administrationn has reacted since then.
3000 died yes but did Bush's order to kill 10's of thousands of innocent Iraqi's bring the 3000 back?

a lot of people have. its sick, really. but what can we do? all i can do is make sure i dont forget and every so often bring it up, just to try to keep the memory fresh. i think on Sept 11 all that should be on TV are the news broadcastings and memorials for the dead.
we cannot forget. long live america

Well, I'd say the Bush Administration has forgotten, since they've disabled the CIA task force that's supposed to be looking for Bin Laden.
