Before you start breeding birds, you need to see if it will be a "forever" thing. There are laws that are trying to be passed about calling hobby breeders a "real business", which means you need the proper licensing, registration and pay state taxes/business federal taxes on all income on your birds. I am unsure what states, if more then Virginia, I believe, have passed the law or are trying to sneak more through congress. I would check this out first before you look at actually starting a breeding buisness. If this is the case, you might as well look into doing a full pet store.

first of all go out and buy alot of land have a house to live in built on it then a huge barn, fill the barn up with all the cages,toys, food, and other necessisites needed for housing such birds then get the rest of the thousands of dollars it is going to take to buy them and have them all tested for avian diseases and pay that vet bill. Then go hire all these people to come in and keep things cleaned, everyone fed and watered ect. then go back to work to remake all the millions of dollars you just spent on them.

Dont breed exsotic animals thats the most horrible thing I have haerd of in my life! 4.2 million animals go to shelters each year because of over pupulation and half of the m die ! Dont do it if you do i hope guilt runs through your body for the rest of your life !

I say no matter how "exotic" the bird is, you shouldn't be breeding with it, much less pimping it. That's just wrong. There oughta be a law!!!
