Geeze! I didn't know you could get it so often. My dad had some kind of shot in his neck when he had the shingles and that took care of it. Otherwise, he would have had to take a pill every four hours, even during the night, for months or longer. I know we carry the virus in our system all the time, even when we don't show the results and it can be triggered by stress. Ask the doc about this shot and go on the net and research it.

I am an alternative medicinal therapist(not homoeopathy) and an ex nurse. If you had chicken pox as a child then this is the adult form. The Chicken Pox virus has a nasty habit of storing itself in a section of your brain. The problem with this is that sometimes it comes out as shingles, there isn't much orthodox medicine can do for you but i have a few remedies. Give me a shout.

Shingles is caused by a virus in the nerves of people who have previously had chicken pox. The virus is in your body waiting to represent itself. It will happen more often if you are run down, tired, stressed, or have a low immune system. There is a vaccine and you should try to find out about it.

Infections have a tendency to enter the weakest point in the body. Did you ever have an operation or problems with that arm? Something is weaker there on your body allowing entry. Remember, everything takes the path of least resistance.
