a lot of them do because they realize how much they miss what they had. You know how they say you never realize how much something means to you until it's gone? Same deal here ma'am.

I think that the majority of people go back out of comfort. Think about it, you didnt WANT to break up ya know? You envisioned this relationship to be different;special. So when they have to end , no matter whos choice, its sad. No one wants to be sad or deal with matters of the heart they are the most cruel. Look at our media it is saturated with realtionship wounds and pain, from songs to film. It is just hard plain and simple. Make certain you are breaking up because it is healthy for YOU.

because they remember what they had... they think of the days when they were the happiest, and it was when they were in a relationship. By getting back with eachother they think that everything will back to normal the "good days" because people think of the good ties and try to forget about the bad.

Theres a few reasons ... 1- they might relize how much they love eachother ..... 2- they were eachother firsts ....... 3- they might think they need the other one .... 4- they might not be able to find someone better
