By throwing rice it is a way to show the couple that you wish them well and good fortune so that they never go hungry...Different cultures always have different views like the giving and receiving of rings,some cultures believe that by placing the ring on the 4th finger that the vein carries the love through the vein on that finger and it stays with you in your heart forvever.Nowadays people will either blow bubbles or throw bird seed do that birds do not eat it and get sick or die....It's all in the culture in which you live by..Good luck on your wonderful day!!!!
