Hon, I would delete your question and put it back in with just your first name. It's a pretty common last name, but you put enough info in there (what grade you're in, that you're running for office) that any nut out there could "befriend" you as a fellow 9th grader and get enough other information in IMs to actually locate you.
As a Mom, I'll tell you honestly that the idea of either of my daughters putting their name on the internet (even though they're very common and a common last name) scares me to death!
