Because I can't talk to my own pastor just because he refuses to help damaged women(even on biblical topics) I'm really stuck and confused on this subject Blashemy of the Holy Spirit and scared to death because I'm not sure if I commited the unforgivable sin or not!! So if you're a pastor a Christian not a mormon or Roman Catholic could you contact me? Because I'm really confused.

I'm a pastor. What are you confused about? I can tell you that if you are still concerned about committing the unpardonable sin, you haven't!!! The "Unpardonable Sin" isn't any particular sin. It is closing God out of your life to the point that He can no longer reach you. The way of salvation is opened to us through the work of the Holy Spirit. If we no longer listen to Him, then salvation is no longer possible - thus the "Unpardonable Sin".

When you refer to yourself as a damaged woman, I'm not sure what you mean. However, I can tell you that there is no damage that God cannot repair.

I can tell you for sure that you have not done that... I am not a pastor...but any of the true Christian Faith can assure you of that.

there is no sin you can commit that can not be forgiven if you go to God in The Way he proscribes.

There are pastors on here from time to time... but most will not bother as this place is mostly a waist of time as far as tryiong to get ot the Truth Of The Good News of Salvation.

I accept honest questions from honest seekers concerning the Christian Faith, Or. you can check me out at:

The fact that you are scared and worried about whether you have done this......pretty much means that you have not. Otherwise you would not be so worried about it.

In part what this Blasphemy entails is saying that the devil did something when it was the Holy Spirit. Denying that the Holy Spirit was the one that did something good. That is the best that I can do. I am trying to remember all that I have heard about the Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

I'm not a pastor, but I'm a pastor-to-be that had trouble figuring this out myself. Luckily, I think I have an answer for you.

My pastor once said in a sermon that the only real blasphemy against the Holy Ghost is UNBELIEF. The Holy Ghost is present every time the Word of God is proclaimed; it is His job to enlighten our souls, bringing us out of the darkness of unbelief into the light of faith. When we reject the Word of God, despite the truth of what is being preached to us and the Holy Ghost working on our hearts, we commit blasphemy against Him.

In other words, as long as you believe in Christ as your savior (which you apparently do), then you have committed no blasphemy against the Holy Ghost and are in the clear. I hope my answer helped you out and took a load off your mind. God bless!

my dear....if you would have commited Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit you would not be worrying about it anymore.....for to do so one would have t be so much against God and what He represents that there is no turning back......if you still are having a feeling of fear over this and want to serve the lord ..then rest assured you have not committed this sin of turning completely and utterly away from God.....there is appointed for all of us a time of God drawing us to himself and we can ignore that or answer when He calls us and every ones time for this is different , but when they have rejected God so much that they have went too far. God no longer calls them to Him and leaves them to themself and what they choose...this takes a very long time to happen....God is extrememly forgiving and doesnt want any to perish...so just by asking this question and the concern you stated you shouldnt worry ..........as long as you long to serve Jesus you are OK
