That really depends on the type of guy he is. Start with the basics by looking your best and smelling good of course. Feel sexy and classy and you probably will look sexy and classy to others. In other words, have confidence. If he is going out with you, you have already won his interest.

First of all...if your on the date with him...you already interest him...The thing you need to find out is...what is his intentions..? You must first assume...that he's not there to make small talk... believe me when I tell you...he has more on his mind than just playing card games..!
Second of all...if you go with him...go to a place like a movie...or something that has a lot of people around...and spend time talking about your likes and dislikes...if he really cares for you...he won't mind spending time with you...around other people...if he does not care about you...and wants only one thing... then he'll insist on spending time alone with you...and once he gets what he wants...you'll become...nothing more than a memory to him and nothing more...!
The first thing you need to do...is to become friends...and talk to each other...holding hands is good...being alone is bad...it can get you into to much trouble...conversation...talking ...laughing... making small talk...about each other will help you to know more about each other...I hope I've been of help...

he is already interested in you that's why you are going on a date. Be yourself- whatever that means. If you aren't great with conversations try asking questions like what's your fav. song or have you seen this movie I heard about to get the convo flowing. Who knows he may be great with conversations and you won't have to feel obligated to entertain.

If the guy is going on a date with you he is already interested, just be yourself. Let him see who you really are, dont try to be something else just to impress this guy. He is already interested so just be yourself and be comfortable in your own skin.

OK, you've got it all wrong. The idea is to be yourself plus a little magic, not to make believe you are someone else to "make" him like you. If you do that, you won't learn what you actually like, and you'll trick him into thinking you are something that you are not. That is not fair. Sort of like a man saying "I love you," to get sex, but not meaning it.
I like people who can talk, or maybe are still to shy to. What do you like?

most of all be yourself hun, this guy wouldnt be going out with you at all if he didnt like you for who you were normally. if you try to act like something or play up something you think he might like, he will notice and know your conforming to something your not, stay true to yourself
also pay attention to him, ask stuff about him liek his favorite bands, movies, what he hate sabout school, stuff like that. find something the two of you have in commona nd start up a converstation
