Try making him do a whole series of tricks. I do it with my dog and she is so convinced that she has earned a really good treat that when will swallow her meds without checking them out first. Or, mix it in cat food/bacon

Are these worms live or do they look like a grain of rice when they dry?
There are many good over the counter wormers for dogs at the pet store.
If it looks like a grain of rice when dry, it would be tapworm. The other wormers will not kill tape. The larger pet stores call Praziquantel. This is the generic version of what the vets use to kill tapeworm. I got mine at www.jefferspet.com

A trip to your vet. You have to know which worm you are treating. Intestinal worms can make a dog sick, but unless it's an extreme case he won't die right away. Heartworms are in the blood and they are MUCH more serious - they can kill a dog.

go to a farm supply store buy liquid panacur give 1 cc for every 4 lbs body weight give 1 x per day for 10 days. if the dog doesnt like the taste mix the 1cc in with 1/4 cup of fresh goats milk

I don't know how old your dog is, but it sounds like tapeworms. When they dry up they look like yellow grains of rice. You will need to get the meds you need from your local vet. If you have a hard time getting a pill down your pet, you can get an injection instead. They can make your dog skinny and throw-up but dogs especially outdoor ones can get them several times in their lives. It is healthier to treat them though, than to ignore them.

well no it depends on what kind of worm it is it sounds like a tape worm or a heart worm.....well if they had a long time im sry yes there ganna die but not a long time there going to live i would sugetst if u go to the vet....

I suggested to take it to the vet. where exactly are theses worms located at on the dog? If they are that color that is not a good sign.

I assume you are talking about your dog? I would take it to the vet and let the vet administer the proper medication. I wouldn't let it go to long. The vet will know right away what you need ..........God Bless you and your dog.
