About five minutes ago, I took my three dogs outside. I opened the door, and there was a white plastic bag on the outside of my door on the handle. Inside was a single stem of yellow irises (Don't they grow only in summer?).
I opened the bag and there was a bag of Andes mint chocolates, wrapped in a few layers of decorated cellophane.
Attached to the bag was a beautiful card. I opened it, and in handwriting I don't recongnize (It's the handwriting of someone elderly. It's very shakey, but not childlike). The note said, "I hope you had a beautiful fourth of july, and I hope all is well.
~ Secret Sister"
What's odd is, I have a bull mastive/great dane mix on a tether outside. He views the only enterance to the driveway, and he ALWAYS announces when someone enters and leaves. On foot, in vehicle, or otherwise.
Claude was completely silent. My cockatiels are noisy when someone enters the property, and they were silent.
My three dogs inside were absolutely quiet.

My brother had entered the front door not twenty minutes before I exited.
Does anyone know what a Secret Sister is? There are no churches even *remotely* close by. I live in a very rural area, and *I* personally live about seven miles out of town where the roads get rough and not a lot of people live. This person obviously did not enter my property in any sort of vehicle, but it's odd, since Claude is activly playing on his runner -- He wasn't asleep, he'd see if someone entered the property, and it isn't possible to enter from anywhere else, or jump the fence.
I am Athiest, but I don't think it makes a difference.... Anybody have any ideas? It's a bit eerie.

I *do not* have any blood sisters. I am an only child between my father and mother, and I have two half brothers (We share a mother), and they do not have sisters. My father has a son on his side, but only a son.
