Jesus says He will come like a thief in the night. He also says no one will know the day or hour. Plus, He tells us to "keep watch!" So, I would expect that His church will leave before the Tribulation.
That being said, there are greater minds than mine who disagree. They also say the same thing I do. Be watchful! Be ready!
The Second Coming of Christ is a foundational doctrine of the Church. How it happens, however, is not. So, we need not major in the minors, nor divide over this.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
For other meanings, see Rapture (disambiguation).
The Rapture is an event in certain systems of Christian eschatology (the study of the end times) whereby it is believed that all Christians will be taken from Earth by Jesus Christ into Heaven. Although almost all forms of Christianity believe that those who are "saved" will enter Heaven, the term "rapture" is usually applied specifically to the belief that Christians will be taken into heaven prior to the Second Coming of Christ, and there will be a period of time where non-Christians will still be left on earth before Christ arrives to set up his earthly kingdom
I believe the rapture of the children of Christ, the tribulation of the nonbelievers and the 444,000 , the calling up of the 444,000 from the mount, the destruction of the rest , then the coming of the city "new Jerusalem"

Fundamentalist/Evangelical Christians who believe in the rapture and the tribulation disagree on when the rapture will take place. Some are pre-tribulation rapturists, some are mid-tribulation raputurists, and some are post-tribulation rapturists. You should ask your pastor which group your group belongs to. Classical Christians for the most part do not believe in the rapture at all, but they are still believers.

Before. The tribulation will be the seven scrolls that will be opened one at a time and will be the cruse that sinners have placed on themselves. Famine , sickness, the world will become out of control. Those that have never heard of Jesus Christ and how to ask for forgiveness will have the opportunity to hear about him and then decide if they want to except him into they lives, if they except him they will be beheaded when the Anti-Christ hears of their salvation to Jesus Christ. The book of Revelation makes it clear what will happen. But it is a hard book to understand clearly so if you need better understanding it would be in your best interest to seek a minister or a Christian counselor for guidance.

Most people who believe in the Rapture and Tribulation believe the Rapture will occur BEFORE the Tribulation although a fairly convincing argument can be made for after (I think it will be before)

In the twinkling of an eye at the last Trump ( Breath ) you will be as Jesus.
the last blast of air the last vibration of your body.," Trump" there may be some called up quickly at the final hour, but The Grave holds none of Gods Children. Jesus won victory over death.

A lot of people think it will be before, but that's not biblical, more like wishful thinking. I think it will be directly after the trib, right before the final wrath. He says we'll be saved from the wrath, nothing about being saved from the trib.

To philpro;
The Bible, while not using the word "rapture" in King James Enlish, describes the event explicitly.
As to when it will happn: It doesn't really matter when it will happen and matters even less when one THINKS it will happen.
The important thing is to be ready for it whenever it does happen.
