Fried Pickles

Dill pickle slices
Salt
Pepper
1 egg
8 ounces milk
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
5 to 6 drops Tabasco sauce
1 tablespoon flour
2 cups flour

Mix egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, and 1 tablespoon flour in bowl. Mix salt, pepper (to taste), and 2 cups flour in bowl. Dip pickles in egg wash, then flour, then egg, then flour, then drop in hot oil and fry until golden.




French Fried Pickles

Oil
1 egg, slightly beaten
3 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon pickle liquid (dill or sweet)
1/3 cup pancake mix
1 cup pickle slices (Cucumber Slices, Sweet Pickle Chips or Hamburger Dill Pickles)

Heat one inch of salad oil in skillet or electric skillet to 360 degrees f. on deep fat thermometer. Combine milk, egg, and pickle liquid. Add pancake mix, stir until smooth. Dip pickle slices into batter. Fry slices in oil until lightly browned. Remove with slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve hot as appetizer or snack.

1/4 teaspoon salt
1 c ice water
1 egg yolk
2 tablespoon dill pickle juice
8 med dill pickles, sliced 1/4 inch thick

4 c dill pickle slices, drained
oil for frying

Stir flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt into a large bowl. Make a well in center; add water, egg yolk, and pickle juice, all at once. Stir with wire whisk to make a smooth batter. Cover bowl and refrigerate 30 minutes. Heat at least 2 inches of oil in deep fryer or large saucepan to 375 degrees F. In batches, dip pickle slices in the batter to coat evenly and lightly. Fry without crowding in hot oil until golden brown and crisp, 1-1/2 to 2 minutes. Drain on paper towel and serve at once. Dip in a sauce if preferred. Makes about 8 servings as an appetizer or side dish.

yes they r good try this get some dill pickles and flour fry them don't burn them. I say the pickles make flavor of their own.

Just buy some pickle spears coat them with four or make a batter you can buy drakes this works well.

They are pretty good. They serve them at Long John Silver's around here and some burger joints. Try allrecipes.com for any recipe. It's great.

They are very good. I had some of the best at Stumler's in Indiana a couple years ago.
Try different recipes. Emeril has a good one.

No but I know what you mean they are good. It just seems to me that the same batters that you would use on anything you deep fry would do the same. Sorry not much help.
