what is the best hunting air rifle in the uk?

i am wanting to buy a new air rifle for pest control and dont know which one to buy .177 .22 gas ? spring ? ect
please help

get a pump action...it builds the pressure up to 10 pumps (or more...but that is not suggested by the manufature...but we sure did it alot).

Or if you don't mind buying CO2 Cartiges...opt for that one.

I'd agree, pump leaves nothing but ammo to buy. Which brand? Sorry can't help there. I shoot the UK made Air Arms for competition, nice rifle. Fun but expensive for pests. (Any Air Arms comments out there?)
