As with ANY religion, (including non-religious Atheist) there are extremists. Never the less, this small percentage is often overzellous, very vocal and to be honest quite scary. Yes, some Christians scare the crap out of me. Some Jews scare me, some Muslims, and many Atheist. Just a fact of life. You either except it, or you don't. Buy the grace of God, I can except it.

Mostly, they are just amazingly gullible and credulous. The ones that keep spouting sometimes achieve the status of 'profoundly annoying'. However, there is a segment that emanates from the far right that is exceedingly dangerous. They are the Dominionists (also known as Theonomists or Christian Reconstructionalists). The really scary part is that they are using the innate gullibility of the moderate Christian 'flock' (sheeple) to further their underhanded political objectives (establishing a theocracy in the USA) under the guise of religious considerations like 'family values' and such.
That is VERY scary. Christian moderates need to wake up and resist being used in this manner. I think it amounts to a criminal conspiracy.

Only the ones who misinterpret and then try to limit the freedoms established by our Founding Fathers.
I'm a Christian, but my faith is based on being inclusive, making personal choices without government intervention--and supporting the rights of all people to do the same.

No....well some of my friends are Christians and like to scare me on Halloween 'n stuff....that's about it.

Some Christians are scary, but as religions go, I think they've come along alright. There are other religions that require just a bit more evolution.

Yes. History has shown them to be the most violent, hateful, and ignorant religion on the planet. The Muslims are a close second.

Yes, their refusal to consider any other viewpoint than their own as valid, coupled with their unceasing effort to compel us all to bend to their will, is not just frightening, it is outrageous, and I for one refuse to tolerate it. I keep a shotgun behind the door, a pair of revolvers under my pillow, and an AK-47 in me vehicle!
