A few things to try...
1. Don't force it, let 'old kitty' take as long as it needs
2. Get a second litter box and food/water dishes and encourage old kitty to use those (some cats don't like sharing these things)
3. Pay more attention to old kitty, so it won't feel as jealous
4. Try putting stuff that smells like new kitty(something it sleeps with, plays with) in the areas that old kitty hangs out so that it can get used to the smell.
I had this same problem, all it took was time and now they are best friends.

You need to introduce them slowly..and get another litter box. Also that kitten is rather young to be taken from his mother...so you might want to feed him some kitten formula mixed in with his kitten food. You can get it at walmart...
Keep the kitties separated...Keep baby in a bathroom or something with his own litter box...they'll get used to each other by smelling each other through the door and on your clothes...after a few day it should be ok to let kitty out again and see how the reinterduction works. Old cats always fuss about new cats when they first come into the household...My maggie and gizmo fussed for like a day before they became friends. I just rescued a mama cat...and well her and maggie still hiss and growl at each other but thats about it...OH and I wouldn't leave them alone and unsupervised until they get totally use to each other.

Make sure you give the older cat as much affection as the newcomer. The older cat is jealous. Can you set up a 2nd litter box for the time being? That might be what works.
Do you feed them out of the same dish? They may need separate dishes for now as well.
They may never get along, only time will tell. We have 3 cats: 2 females, ages 7 and 5 and 1 male, age 3. The male doesn't usually get along with the other two since he arrived.

Oh yes.. They WILL get along.. it takes a little time.. maybe even up to a week. Take a hair brush that you brush the kitty with.. brush the new kitty with it and then brush the other kitties with the same brush. The smell of the hair mixtures sometimes helps speed up the "getting together".. I always laugh when this happens.. a new person on the block... but it passes.. do not worry.

Yes a separate litter box is required. Introduce one another slowly over a period of time, but stay with them. Your older cat may be feeling that your affections are no longer directed solely on her. She will need time to adjust to the other cat. For more advise ask your vet and get some cat books that deal in cat behaviour.

I have some (4) cats. Only the 1st 2 were brought in together (the sisters) The 2nd was a gift (gee thanks) And the 4th was... well..... found in a box in a dumpster.(trash can kitty) So get another box and let them go. Don't try to get them together, it will just sped them apart. let the new cat go where it wants too and the old one will finely give in. But it will always want its own pan (box)

make sure you are giving your older kitten alot of attention, she may feel neglected. Play with that cat for awile, and then go get the new cat, and try to play with both of them together, and hopefully the old cat wont feel threatened any more. It may take time, but they will get used to each other. Sometimes animals can be teratorial.

Your older kitties feel threatened. And with cats it is all about respect.
Make sure you give extra attention to your older ones to assure them the new one is not invading on their space. It will take time, but eventually they will get along. The new one need to learn to respect the older ones.
Good luck!

There's pretty much nothing u can do. The older kitten already has her territory and she thinks the younger cat is invading her territory. I had the same problem with my new kitten, we ended up giving her away.
