Jiffy and Bisquik both have on the boxes great and easy banana bread recipes... mmm thats sounds good too bad it takes so much time and effort to make it i love it hot out of the oven with butter on it... im drooling just thinking about it..

Banana Nut Bread with Buttermilk

Ingredients:

Cooking Directions:

3/4 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups granulated white sugar
1 1/2 cups mashed bananas (3 medium bananas)
2 eggs -- well beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup buttermilk
OR
1/2 cup milk -- soured
AND
1 teaspoon vinegar
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 325?F. Cream butter and sugar together thoroughly.
Blend in bananas, eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, baking soda and salt
together. Add to banana mixture, alternating with buttermilk and mixing
thoroughly after each addition. Add nuts and gently mix. Pour batter into
greased and floured loaf pan. Bake for 1 1/4 hours, or until done.

Banana Bread
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon soda
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
3 large bananas, mashed
2 cups flour
1 cup chopped nuts
Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Mix dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture. Beat in mashed bananas. dd nuts. Mix well. Turn into greased 9X5X3 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 50 to 60 minutes.

6 very ripe bananas, mashed
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons baking soda
4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Grease four 7x3 inch loaf pans. In a small bowl, stir together 1/4 cup white sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Dust pans lightly with cinnamon and sugar mixture.
In a large bowl, cream butter and 3 cups sugar. Mix in eggs, mashed bananas, sour cream, vanilla and cinnamon. Mix in salt, baking soda and flour. Stir in nuts. Divide into prepared pans.
Bake for 1 hour, until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
