without bugs, the whole ecodynamics of nature would change and basically, things would not be how you now know them.. therefore, bugs have a purpouse, even bacteria and viruses have a porpouse, everything has a purpouse, no matter how minor it is..

hi i am a christian and i was honored to find that some one had such an interesting question but any way its all apart of the circle of life. if there was no insects what would the frogs eat? or the birds or any thing else thats an bugloving animal. they would have to eat something else and that animal that there eating would eat something else and that animal and so on and so fourth :~}lol. but any who every thing needs something like for instince did you know that fleas and mosquitos only drink the bad blood in your body not the good, BUGS are cleansers put here by the heavenly father and god is spelled with a capital G. oh and dont call your self demented careful of what u speak!

Some bugs help decompose the matter that is not going to be eaten by other animals and thus bring back the resources to the earth again (life cycle continues) Other bugs do other things, like flies are food for spiders, who become food for other animals on the food chain and help other creatures who do other things survive... its all a weird balance... (I forgot the rest of my Biology lessons)

Well, besides the obvious reason, keeping nature in balance and all that...there's another reason. According the the Vedic scriptures, even bugs have souls. We are all transmigrating from the lowest form of life, or consciousness, to the highest, and if we don't utilize our human form of life for understanding God and ourselves, then we may have to take birth once again in a lower species of life...even a bug. And start all over again. Our bodies reflect our desires....so be careful what you wish for!

lots of bugs have purpose, bees are needed to polinate the flower and spiders to eat the flies, mosquitos to feed the frogs and mosquito eaters to eat the extras. "To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven" Ecc 3:1 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose." Rom 8:28

Back in the day before fast food bugs were a food supply. They are a wonderful source of protein, not that I personly had any. Also, bugs are a food source for birds, spiders, bats and other animals.

Bugs are food for many other small animals. They also serve many purposes. Bees spread pollen, maggots eat dung (animal poop)... Some of them eat each other to keep their populations in check.
If there were no bugs, the planed would be covered in poop and there would be no flowers.

If there were no ants to clean up all the dead stuff lying around, the entire world would stink from the rotting creatures lying around. The same thing goes for many other bugs; they are nature's "clean up crew."
