Ok, so I went to church for the first time in months and I got a headache, felt cold and felt nauseous. Yes, I have always been self-centered, but lately something else is going on with me. No, I do not converse with demons or worship Lucifer. However, I couldn't care less about the things that used to matter to me. Just curious, not afraid or searching for redemption.

You are growing a brain. This is normal, because brains reject church, so you have nothing to worry about if you stay out of them.

Although the first point in the turn towards evil is turning away from the true God, we also normally find God very mysterious and difficult to understand.

If we do not take proper care of this body God and nature have given us, and if we mistreat the bodies of others, then that is sign of evil.

But, still, our true self is never evil. Our true eternal self is all-good just as God is All Good.

Sounds like your church is making you feel guilty. You know that the concept of Hell as we know it was invented by Dante Alighieri, the man that wrote "Dante's Inferno". Yes, it's a literary concept. I don't know how it got brought into churches.
