LOL that's funny. My cousin had a baby in a taxi too (they got stuck in traffic on the way to the hospital). Husband and taxi driver delivered and the ambulance came and took them to the hospital after it was all over.

I see that an excellent kind of mom indexed right here are rather brainwashed. they are speaking like the medical doctors convenience is a crucial factor in childbirth. In MY childbirth , MY ease of delivery and MY perineum rather count kind to me. So what if a physician has to kneel or squat whilst i'm interior the optimal birthing place for me. maximum those that circulate into this occupation for the affection of childbirth would be knowledgeable approximately human anatomy and physique shape. i will promise you that the midwives(midwives that have accompanied their hearts to that occupation) do not whinge! They comprehend that gravity helps a woman supply beginning. in addition they understand that status up and leaning over feels OH SO good!!!!! and because while did mendacity on your back straighten out your beginning canal !!!! LOL additionally as for the arms and knees remark that one mom made... arms and knees positioning is optimal for some diverse scenerios one being the place a toddler is sunny area up dealing with the international.. and the different being shoulder dystocia. i think the actual question that should have been posed right that's WHY DO women persons venture THEMSELVES TO BEING dealt with LIKE AN INANIMATE merchandise THAT merely DOES AS they are informed....

I just watched a video about a woman who gave birth in a Walmart rest room never knowing that she was pregnant. She said there was no pain involved. I looked for it on CNN but couldn't find it. Personally I think that would be the best way to have a baby, just one day have it come out as a surprise! I knew quite well that I was pregnant and there was no mistaking labor as anything but pain

My birth was a suprise to my parents. My mom was a month away from her due date when she started feeling the contractions. My dad told her to sit down for a while until they went away. My mom thought it was me on the way, but my dad didn't want to believe she was a month early. Finally, my mom freaked and yelled for my dad to take her to the hospital. He was convinced by then, and drove her to the nearest hospital. Halfway there. My mom had me. In the backseat. The worst part was, my dad had to pull into a parking lot when my mom started giving birth. So it's sort of a joke that I was born at Dunkin Donuts. I love the bagel and cream cheese from DD. They are the best!!!! LOL

I made it to the hospital, but my son was born by emergency c-section at 29 weeks. I had been at work all day on my feet and my back was killing me, and come to find out I was having back labor. When I clocked out from my shift at 4pm I started having slight bleeding. I called my husband and he came and picked me up. When we got to the hospital at 4:45 I was already dilated to 9. He was born at 5:59 pm. He was at Children's Hospital in Seattle until a week before his origional due date.

My sister delivered her second daughter in the taxi as well. Will this suffice your asking and record?

The only one that really surprised me was my own - I didn't see that one coming! Luckily I was born in my own bedroom and was able to go straight to bed as I was very tired. (believe it or not this is all true!)
