sounds strange but a SMALL dose of pepto bismal - works on my dogs if they are a little sick or have a bad tummy. It gives them time to recover.
Only do this for 48hrs if the tummy bug still continues after this then get the dog to the vet.

We have 3 yorkies and one of them is always have tummy problems. We have been to the vet so many times and here is what finally works for her. Give nothing but water for the rest of the day if she is throwing up, the next day we give white rice mixed with boiled chicken. It is so good for them and they love it! It is also easy on the tummy after throwing up and having diaherrea. Good luck :)

How do you know he has an upset tummy????? Take him outside, to a grassy spot, if he actually does have some stomach problem he will eat the grass in order to induce vomiting. Other than that wait it out.

hi there, please give your vet a call and get their advice, it could be a blockage or just an upset tummy. most of us who have answered, care about your dog, but none of us are experts . you should'nt really hang about if suspect something is wrong, sometimes, time is of the essence and a quick diagnosis is needed. it could be something and nothing . no point in guessing is there?. in the end vet knows best love , good luck bye.

I had a springer who suffered from colitis and the vet advised plain rice, fish and chicken, it worked and it cleared up, then he would go back to his normal diet, and on the next attack we would feed him the same again - it was like a miracle cure - GOOD LUCK

PLAIN chicken, rice, white fish, My mum used to give her retriever raw egg yolk. It seemed to upset him more at first, and his farts were terrible, but it seemed to do the trick!
Don't forget to offer PLENTY of room temperature water to drink!
