A Christian is a follower of Jesus Christ. Some Baptist teach Jesus is God's son. That he died for the sins of all mankind. That he rose on the third day and will return for those who believe in him. Some do not. It's not about a denomination it's about what you do with Jesus. I am a Baptist because they most closely follow the teachings of God's Word. Not because they are Baptist.

Baptist, like the word christian, has little meaning as far as telling the true faith of the individual... I am a mamber of a conservative Baptist congrigation...because I was voted in by the other members... that is all it take to become a Baptist in most cases...as it is all that is needed to become a member of many other "denominations"... at to my"Faith"... I am a member of the One True Church of which Christ is The Head.... There is no other "true" church out there...

There are relatively few of the True Christian Faith... There are far more who think they are but are in fact not. You can not be born into being a christian or be one just because of the country youwere born in. youcan not just say you are and be one...no man can decree that you are a christian... no rite or act or work or any other custom or doctrin or dogma of man can make you one

those who are of the Christian Faith have a one-on-one relation ship with God... no pope priest or man can stand between God and His people.

Anyone who believes that Jesus was the Son of God is a Christian, Baptists are just one small little group of those people. Anybody who tells you different is a bigot and a liar. You don't have to belong to a certain church group to be a Christain.

Being part of a denomination does not mean you are a christian. It just means that you believe the same way that denomination believes. Being a Christian means allowing Christ to be the leader of your life. It does not mean you are baptist, methodist, pentacostal, independent and so on.

Baptist as a rule do not accept or teach the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence, The Holy Spirit is the Seal of God and the only deterrent to receiving the Mark or stigma of the Ant-Christ or Anti-Anointed.
