Sky HD is definitely the best for superb picture quality, however, is really worth an extra £10 a month on top of the already expensive package and you only get 8 extra ( non exciting ) channels..., but it's for you to decide..

NO! You pay a lot for nothing, buying the box is only a part of the money-eating-clause, you have to re-sign for another 12months, and pay an added extra on top of your normal package just to purchase what little amount of HD channels there are on Sky.
The price will drop soon and more channels will be added, but until then don't waste your time with it.
PACE are releasing a HD Free-view Box which, in my books, is bound to be a winner - a one-off payment of £200 for the box and then all the free channels in HD. Sky's HD box is around £200-£299 alone without the monthly contract. Unless you have a HDTV you won't notice a bit of difference though. Needless to say, within a few months you will be able to purchase HDTV's with built-in HD Free-views.

if you buy a HD tv then u'll need to buy sky or have telewest etc on cable in order to ever view HD programmes. Freeview digital signal more then likely will never have broadcast HD programmes. Gets technical but there is too much information needed for the signal. So you got little choice really.

Its good if you have a HD TV, but now the world cup is over there won't be much to watch.
Leave it a while and the price will come down.

you will in user-friendly terms see plausible earnings, in case you have a extensive demonstrate television. that's resembling taking digital photograph's; 10 mega pixels + is merely useful for added super prints. individually, i will, and could bide my time in getting it.
