Our minds cannot conceive a being like God. It is easier for us to say He, otherwise, how could we refer to God ?

You pose an really reliable question. One i have heard many circumstances, and thanks for not being advise lively in asking the questions or putting absolutely everyone's faith down. In Islam, we do not imagine of Allah (swt) as someone. God is a not a being, not a human nor some thing that should be so merely comprehended. And as for the "He" reference each and every of the time in books and the Quran, "He" is the merely excellent English translation so a techniques for the Arabic word. So even as God is called a "He" it does not advise that God is male, it really is merely the nearest translation of that Arabic pronoun.

God is neither. God is, in Judeo-Christian thought, beyond the limitations of gender. The word "God" and the pronoun "He" is used mostly because that was the common third-person usage. Now, 'He' may have acted as Jesus' father, but it was technically the Holy Spirit that impregnated Mary. So God was the de facto father, not as a masculine diety, but as the one who 'caused'? Mary to become pregnant. God is referred to as 'Lord' again because for the longest time all authority figures were referred to in the third-person as male, for example, "police-man" "mail-man". Such gender limited titles do not reflect God's gender, merely how God is/was perceived.

God is neither Male or Female, He is a Celestial Spirit, Jesus referred to him as his Celestial Father or Heavenly Father , this is why we refer to God as He.
at the time Jesus was teaching , the people considered the giver of life as the Father. To think God considers Sex or Race in any thing he says, is A confusing lie. in Galatians God says there is neither Greek, Jew, Male or Female .

God is male. The Goddess is female.
Christian dogma was formed in a male-dominated society, so any talk of a female deity was quashed early on. Most Christian sects don't recognize the feminine aspect of divinity.

What do u expect in a male divided society. God is god, break it into two parts and you have male & female, yin and yang. Women show the godly care and concern in the form of mother, sister, friend, wife and daughter. Men are little too shy to express love and utilise energy to show prove that they are superior, due to inferiority complex, I guess.

An almighty God would not be native to Earth and could not be considered male or female.
The male pronouns are used in English because they are the correct ones to use in cases of gender ambiguity.

God created both Adam and Eve in his image. Therefore God is both male and female. He engenders the strength of men and the compassion of women. Together, they make a perfect whole just as God is perfect.

Until recent times, women were considered inferior to men. Most stayed home, were not allowed to vote, some were not even educated. Men were the doctors, lawyers, even secretaries. Men wrote books--men wrote the Bible--men solely ruled countries. It therefore stands to reason that the men writing the Bible would assume God is a man.

God is an It.. Neither male nor female. It's an all-embracing force. Have you read any of Alice Walker's stories or novels? She explores this subject in every detail :))
