If you have been robbed. Did you file a report? If you did. Go to the police department sometimes they have this program called Victim compensation. I dont know if they have this where you live but ask. I got help last year. My ex husband and me had a problem. I put charges and they told me about this Victims compensation. I was at a shelter. They paid daycare and six months of rent. The police station always knows where to send you for help. Hope this was of help to you.

Wow, I'm amazed they didn't refer you to a victims services advocate or something.

You live in public housing which means you should have a low rent.you make TO MUCH to receive assistance and let a relative steal from you "TWICE".Looks like your not managing very well.Think of your children and start budgeting better for their sake.We all live check to check with the cost of living now a days.Get a second job till you catch up and stop looking for charity. We already pay taxes on your public housing Good luck and God bless you and your kids.

You need someone to advocate on your behalf.
Get the ear of a supportive Social Services worker and request that he or she be your advocate for you and your children. Once you have done that, you may find no stronger ally.
Best Wishes!

For immediate help try he local churches, especially the Latter
Day Saints. They are very family oriented and very caring.
You don't have to be of that religion either. They helped my family when we had to live in the car.
