First, learn to spell
Second, when did england last win? about 40 odd years ago? get over it!
Third, yes we are all part of the UK. Why is it that English people have to constantly bring up this subject? To be honest, us Scots (who I guess you are pointing the remark at) really could not give a **** about this rivalry. The constant arrogancy of certain English people seems to make the rift between ALL of the UK countries bigger. Within England, Scotland, Wales and N. Ireland there is bigotry of this kind. I, personally am sick of hearing about England and their world cup I COULDN'T GIVE A MONKEYS! It is over now.
One thing is for sure, Scotland fans are renowned throughout the world for their support of their admittedly crappy team. They are true fans who will support their team no matter what - and they always have a great party whether they win or lose! We know our team is **** and have never claimed to be anything more!!!
And to the **** above, haggis is all we are famous for? Oh well the T.V that a Scot invented isn't worth mentioning.
Or the penacillin that helped last time you were ill isn't worth remembering. The Scots have a huge part in history and are credited with many great inventions.
I do not hate England nor do I hate the English. Many of them who I have had the pleasure of meeting have been fantastic people. It is people like you who keep this going just because you want someone to hate.

I would first learn to read and write your own language properly so that we may understand your complaint.
No-one condones the beating up of children.
If you look at the amount of rubbish that Scots fans have to read and listen to about England you would understand you have to take abuse as well as give it.
If you are being serious and are really a Football fan then you will understand the achievement it is for Scotland to even qualify for these major tournaments, given just the size of the population.
Add to this fact that the best English League Managers and players are or were Scottish and that a Scottish team was the first UK team to win the then European Cup and with a team totally consisting of Scots. The one true thing you say is that we are all British with ancestors that fought and died for Britain, but we do each have our own identity and pride and just as you feel upset when you are subject to remarks so are the other home nations. You know the saying "people in glass houses........."

Please remember that in the last 40 years, England didn't qualify for 20 of them, check the history books and you will see that.
1962 qualified
1966 didn't qualify as they were the host nation
1970 didn't qualify as they had won it
1974 didn't qualify
1978 didn't qualify
1982 qualified
So as you see from 62 - 82 a 20 year period where they didn't qualify
As for the American who thinks we should be one team what about America Canada Mexico becoming one team how many American players would get into the team then, away an bile yur heid.....

Couldnt agree more with Shonsay.
The violence works both ways. I have been verbally assaulted twice in England because of my accent. My uncle who lives in London has been assaulted because he is Scottish. Oh no that wouldnt reach the news. And what about the BBC news team who 'planted' the car decked out in England flags, in one of the worst areas in Glasgow?
Anyway, we know our team is c**p we dont care we have no expectations of the team, we supprt them anyway. By your performance in the word cup your team is not much better. Only difference is you lot seem to think you have a brilliant team.. Maybe time for a reality check. Bring on Maclaren. lol

You cannot blame a nation of people; for remarks that mostly seem to stem from cowardly, immature, childish, lonely sad, 'Rab C Nesbit look-a-like, fenian celsick fans from glasgow.
I lived up in Portree (Isle of Skye) for 4 years and there are few nicer, warmer, welcoming people, than REAL highlanders.
If I ever win the lottery... I would buy some crofting land; there, the very next day... and the women... "Oh my god" mmmmm!
Football banter is 1 thing... but when william wallace is mentioned... it just bores me!!!
2 main culprits for this are (I think they are gay partners... my mate said) 'george L' , 'jp' and another (gay also) 'edward e'... Wait and see how pathetic and camp they are!

England were 1) Awarded a goal that has since been PROVEN to have not crossed the line. 2) Allowed to score a goal when there was "people on the pitch" and play should have been stopped. YES I'M JEALOUS OF YOUR DUBIOUS WORLD CUP WIN!!!!! Don't start whingeing when it sinks in what we were telling you all along. Your team is sh^*

Let's see Land of Eng has won one World Cup therefore you are such a superior human "bean" we should never insult your Land of Eng side despite the fact they are duller than this entire World Cup has been.
As far as the "UK" (or Uck, as it should be called), when it comes to sport, we Scots hate you Land of Eng people on merit. Live with it. Or come to the dark side...join us in World Cup frustrations as we go out of exciting goal difference time and again.
