If he hired a good Jewish lawyer, he would of walked out and then sued for a big settlement.

Although this question could be an affront to Christ and the Holy Spirit, I'll answer it.
Yes, we still would have. Why? Because Christ was the fulfillment of the Law and new that he had to die to replace Adam and sacrifice himself as the Perfect Lamb of God. Christ could have escaped at any time he wanted. But he wasn't here to live his life the way he wanted, but the manner in which he was sent to. That is as a ransom for Mankinds sin. A perfect man gave up our chance at life, so to restore the balance, a perfect man had to die perfect in order to restore it and redeem us. Christ would not have pleaded out on any chance, he had many many chances to do so and didn't or don't you read the scriptures?

I think we would actually because no matter what jesus wore,he actually invented the easter holidays! Loin cloth was the "in" thing back then!

Yeah... He could have been aquitted in the tattered robes he wore, but He chose to make it so that you wouldn't go to hell if you believed in him. As for me, I'm glad He cared enough to die for me.
