drugs like ecstacy, psychotropical things..
it makes us relax.. and somehow 'enlightened'.. seems like we're flying.. we're one with the universe..
well i don't say drugs is good.. when the feeling caused by it is one of God experience..
and they said that with practice we can reach that experience without using drugs anymore..
i'm not kidding.. i'm serious...

have you ever use drugs ? what does it feel ?
could it be said as God experience ?

Yes! This feeling is not limited to just drugs though, on a lesser scale it is why athletes push their limits and race car drivers go very fast and why people like roller coasters: It stops your thinking. Ends the proverbial hamster cage that is your mind.
For example, when racing a car very fast, you can not think about what you are going to eat for dinner later, you'd crash and die! You have to be focused on what is right in front of you and all around, be in the now.

When you do these things, you push your existence into the now. There is no rationalizing or analyzing things, you just experience the moment, no judgments.

The problem with doing this with an external force is that you become addicted to it, or attached would be a better word. The mind never really learns how to quiet on its own, instead it needs that drug, or distraction to stop the thought process. Those that are on the path to enlightenment, will instead, focus on stopping their mind with their 'true self', or the part of you that never speaks and is only observing everything. They will meditate and clear their mind, and when a thought enters, they don't push it away or hold on to it, they just let it pass.

Here is a tip for you, since you seem to sincerely want to know more about the path: Next time you want to clear your mind, ask yourself this question, say it out loud and contemplate on it's meaning: "I wonder what my next thought is going to be"

May I also recommend the book 'The Power of Now' by Echart Tolle. It is an excellent first step.

The use of a lot of drugs, particularly psychotropics trigger a sense of euphoria, this I think is what you mean by 'God experience'. This euphoric sensation will pass and next normally comes paranoia and anxiousness, it varies a lot depending on the drug you consume. So.... would you want to have a feeling of being next to God followed by being next to insane? With practice yes you can reach feelings of euphoria without drugs. The best way would be physical activity such a running. This will release endorphins into your body and create the same euphoria as drugs, without harmful side-effects.

Yes I'd used many different drugs, no I wouldn't recommend it. Mostly just a waste of time and money.

Any man made drug is usually bad for you and will only give you a false impression of what really is.
Natural psychedelics on the other hand, when taken with the knowledge of how to use them, can bring results. Salvia Divinorium, for example. It was and still is, used by the Shamans of Mexico to commune and talk with the spirits. It is NOT a good drug for the 'fun' factor, but purely for spiritual journeying.
Morning Glory is another one, similar to LSD, but again, unadulterated by human interference. Also, the Psilocybin based mushrooms, have for eons been used for Shamanic purposes, as have many more of Natures bounties that I will not speak of in here.
ANY drug used though, should be fully understood first, before being used, as without proper knowledge, one can only do damage, psychological, mental or physical.

BTW, listen to greenguy415, he has given you good advice.

I've never used drugs, but having had God experiences, I'll tell you you're selling out the real thing for a cheap imitation. You don't need drugs to get there. In fact, I'd say they'd be a roadblock.

St. Paul says, in Galatians: chapter 5 to not let anything control your mind but the Holy Spirit.

So to me that means mind control is very real (either by people or drugs) and that it is dangerous unless that control is given to the Holy Spirit of God only.

I'll be honest. I used to do a lot of drugs and that's what actually brought me closer to God. I didn't do them after I truly found God and my faith. and I feel much better since I quit.
