What a funny question. First OFF, nowhere does it say it was an apple, it says "a fruit" not an apple.

we are informed that she ate from the tree of the records of fantastic and evil. Genesis 2 :16 & 17 contained in the subsequent financial disaster Eve refers to eating the fruit of the tree. The apple isn't stated in Scripture. yet, for sure some thing became starting to be on the tree that she and Adam ought to devour.

the jewish/chrisrian bible just says it was the fruit from the tree of the knowloge of good and evil. many theroies as to which tree that is are abundent.
the christians made it an apple because if you cut an apple in half a five pointed star shape is found. which is one of the symbols of what is called paganism/withcraft ect. and the christian church belived/belives that those who practice those prechristian religions are satan/devil worshipers.
just like St Patrick used the shamrock to explain the trinity of christiany to those that already knew about other types of trinitys.in other words symbolism.
many of the rites that christianity uses were taken from the pagans and other religions to try and attract those followers to them.
True christianity is the follwing of Jesues teachings with out changing a word of it. the task given to Gentiles until the jews reconsised Jesus as their true messiah.

She did not eat an apple. That is mentioned nowhere in the bible. The Bible calls it the Forbidden Fruit and desribes the Forbidden Fruit as something that sounds nothing like any apple I know.

The bible said forbidden fruit it didn't say that it was an apple. So we can't say that eve ate an apple or any other type of fruit . Because we don't know Good Luck.

It might not have been an apple. The bible doesn't say it was or wasn't. Artist's interpretations are what cause the myth of the apple/fig being the sinful tree.

The bible does not say what kind of fruit Eve ate. It's anyone's guess whether it was an apple, pear, pomegranate, etc.

The bible only mentions "fruit" in this fable. But with all the fig leaves mentioned, I'm guessing it was a fig, not an apple...
