To a degree, I agree because usually curly hair is messier and not perfect or whatever and so it just has something to do with the appearance. But it all depends on how you take care of it and everything.

I think people with curly hair aren't taken any less seriously than people with straight hair, but they are certainly taken more seriously than people that ask ridiculous questions.

i think someone with rurly curly hair can be taken serious. But a nappy curly head is like the straight hair rat nest - not professional.
So tame it!

I heard this before somewhere. It's not fair and it makes no sense to me. But a couple of years ago I had curly hair and someone "advised" me that I should straighten it out before going to a job interview so I would get hired.
What difference does it make what your hair texture is anyway?

i completely disagree. my mother has super curly hair and she is the boss of a major complany, people take her very seriously. if you take good care of the curls and dont have totally crazy hair you'll be ok.

I think it also depends a lot on the person who is looking at you and their personal tastes and experiences. A lot of bias comes from emotion. It's like when they say tall people get better jobs or promotions, but in my experience, men tried to sabotage me for being taller than them. It's all relative...
