I am an officer of Marines and I have flat feet. My wet foot prints are completely solid, there isn't any arch down there! That being said, I made it through the MEPS station (inprocessing medical station, make sure you're qualified) made it through multiple schools, 20-mile conditioning hikes in boots, running in sneakers, running in boots, etc, etc. Your anatomy is different so your experience may differ. If you're motivated go for it and see how it works for you. Better to try and fail then to never try at all!

It depends on how bad the problem is. It also depends on whether you are having any trouble with your feet. If you already need to use orthotics for your flat feet you may be disqualified.

AT one time it would have been true, but if you can run comfortably for two miles, you should still be able to get in. They need people
