I'm 13 turning 14 in a month and I like a guy from bible camp that is 18...we are about 4.5 yrs different in age, but we are really awesome together. He is really funny and sweet and nice and at camp he gave me a backrub, when he thought i looked depressed he ran up behind me and picked me up by the waist and was all happy cuz he got me to smile, he stole my memory card and battery out of my camera playfully until i realized it then he gave them back but kept playfully trying to get them out, he played w/ my hair and hugged me a lot. He did stuff like that w/ other girls, too, though, although not nearly as much as w/ me. I really like him a lot. He is going to Harding in a little over a month and I might never see him again. He knows I like him because the night before camp was over I admitted it to him and told him that since he is older I understand if he doesnt like me back. Does he like me? Even a little? Dont say I'm too young, u dont know how i feel. thanx to GOOD advice!!!

He is the only guy that makes me feel beautiful and he totally gets me. We just get each other. I know I'm young and I believed that I was too young for love until I saw him again this year, and now I almost want to say that I love him. No, he isn't like a player or anything....he's never even kissed a girl, but he is NOT gay. lol.

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?

I realize that I really don't know how you feel, but I do realize he makes you feel very special in a way you never felt before.
But I also know you are only thirteen,.and therefore are neither physically nor mentally able to sustain a relationship. It sounds like he cares for you alot, but that he realizes that right now it can not work.
In life, hopefully, you will meet others who will make you feel just as special.
If this relationship is really real, the fates will make sure that one day it will happen. But for now, unfortunately, you have no choice but to show some patience.

Get his address and phone number and talk to him since he'll be leaving. But stay focus on your education. We all make mistakes in our lives but just a conversation on the phone is good for you right now. At that age i didn't know what a boyfriend was. Not even on the phone if tho times has change.

I don't want to hurt your feelings, but if he was doing that to other girls, too, then the chances are that he doesn't like you the same way you like him. I understand you said that he didn't do it to other girls as much, but it's possible you just didn't notice, or that you tried to tune it out. I wouldn't get your hopes up about him liking you.
Besides, I think it's illegal for an adult to date a minor.

you are young yes. but this doesnt take away the great feeling you get when you really like someone. because of the age thing and you being underage take this slow.

He probably likes you but in a christian sister type way.
I know you said not to say your to young and for you its fine but for him it is jail time if he does anything slightly out of line.

well after u told him that u liked him did he still play around with u? if so then he likes u. if not, no worries he just likes u a little. ask him if he likes u!!!! the worst thing is him saying no. good luck!!!!!!! hope it all works out 4 u!!!!!!!

I think he might just be flirting because you are younger than him and maybe he wants you to have a crush on him. He wants to be the cool guy that has girls' crushing on him.
