I went to a party a couple of years ago and started drinking Rum and Cokes. Well, I don't have any clue how many I drank, but it had to be at least a 40oz. worth or rum and maybe a gallon of coke during throughout the night. When I woke from being passed out I PUKED like crazy! But here's the thing, the puke was a VERY thick BLACK liquid very like tar or molasses that smelled like EVIL! Everyone teased me and said that I was all good now because I puked out my evil..hehe.

I am 23 years old, but NEVER have I had an alcoholic beverage because I'm a non-smoking, virgin teetotaler! I would NEVER drink beer because in D.A.R.E. they told us it can make you throw-up, which is something I can't afford to do since people are like ugly on an ape ready to make fun of people who do, particularly when they're jealous of them as they are of me. In 2nd grade, they made fun of me for doing it at school, so I try to avoid everything that could turn my stomach. That means no alcohol and no excessive amounts of food -- I try to avoid places like Ryan's where it's all-you-can-eat no matter what. I'd rather have a set amount and not feel full than to pig out and then have to throw-up later! It's not good for a person's health or self-esteem to do that. When I need to throw-up, like maybe I had a bad dream about a hurricane or someone I know dying because of something I did/didn't do, I lock the door. Alcoholism & vomiting in public are despicable to me!

Sounds like you had a severe case of alchohol poisoning and are lucky you aren't dead. Black, tarry vomit indicates blood. I've only seen ppl with mild alchohol poisoning and they needed to go to the hospital right away.

Unless of course you actually drank black tar. Coke, even with rum doesn't come up like that. I'd stay away from drinking that much alchohol at one time in the future.

The black, tarry substance is digested blood, almost certainly from a stomach ulcer. Alcohol is very caustic to the protective lining of the stomach. Lay off for a little while and let your stomach heal. If you're experiencing stomach pain or indigestion, or if it happens again, it's time to see a doctor. Some ulcers don't heal on their own, and require treatment.

No, not exactly. I've never drank anything like that. But I have been made fun of for puking like crazy cuz I usually brag about how I never get seasick, motion sick, grossed-out, or puke from not feeling well and liked to make others feel like they were gross or wussified when they did. So that day I did in 5th grade, the kids had no mercy & teased me all year! Then Christmas 2004, I had to endure it agan from my family. I was at my aunt's where she had lots of cookies, eggnog, & pecan pie for everybody, so naturally I was showing off by eating half of all that myself. But later, I fell asleep on the couch & got EXTREMELY cold! So I woke in shivers & cramps, went to her bathroom, opened her toilet & puked-up everything in 8-12 gushes! Then, 2-year-old Tyler came in pointing, a bunch of kids & people following him, and said, "Cyrus cho-wup!" I looked at them, puke under my nose & allover my chin, & was mortified almost to tears! I quickly began to feel better, but it was the MOST EMBARRASSING CHRISTMAS OF MY LIFE!!!

Black, tarry vomit usually indicates blood, possibly ulcer. You should see a doctor and slow down on the drinking (just a bit)
