Wilsons' Thyroid Syndrome, a form of hypothyroidism, can cause low body temperature.
I typically run a normal temp. of about 97 F. I have a form of hypothyroidism which I have had nearly my whole life.
If you have symptoms other than the low temp. a simple blood test can tell your dr. if it is your thyroid gland. Medications can take care of the problem very easily.

Yes there really is a Wilson Syndrome and it is connected to your thyroid. People you are hypothyroid have low body temps and their blood pressure usually runs on the low end also. Have your doc run a thyroid testing panel.

"This temp. is not a concern. Body temperature varies throughout the day and is also dependent on hydration, exercise and your overall state of health. "normal" temperature is from 95° to 99°. As long as you are well, I would not worry about this temperature."

The normal temperature for human beings is 96-99 degrees Fahrenheit.. If you fall in that range, it is considered normal. Most people will fluctuate within that range in the absence of disease. Have a nice day.

I'm the exact same way! Been that way for years.
I guess we're either cold-hearted or our DNA has dyslexia.

I do take Synthroid to combat my hypothyroidism. A simple blood test with your doctor can give you an answer. Have it checked out. If it's hypothyroidism and it's treated properly you'll find yourself in a better mood with more energy.
Good luck!

This could be your own natural temperature. Mine runs 97+ continuously. A low thyroid could also cause this. But, if you don't feel ill, it may be natural for you.

98.6 is an average.96.8 might be your normal temperature.
If it really worries you see a doctor, but it's perfectly normal to be slightly off.I usually run around 98.3 or 4.
