Anything short of total obliteration of Iraq will not end the "war."
Your question seems to want the USA out of the conflict. Even if the USA pulls out right now, conflict/war will still be an ongoing thing in Iraq.
Even if you are one of the many who do not agree with the war, once you're in it, you're sorta stuck; your options to withdraw become much more limited.
Additionally, even if the USA pulls all troops out of Iraq immediately, does that mean we are safe. Maybe, maybe not. If the "friendly" regime we "installed" crumbles and Iraq becomes a terrorist haven, then we are going to be in far more danger than we ever have been. If the "installed" regime survives our withdrawal, then we would be safe.
It's like flipping a coin.... Once you flip it, it's up in the air and the results are unknown and may not be what you want.
I'm afraid no one knows THE answer... all we can do is try to make the best choices given our risk tolerance.

By putting the Oil Companies out of business.
But, there is more to this than that. Most of the crisis in the Middle East is due to heavy business ventures from the U.S. And, that in the 1940's, the U.S. supported Israel's independence.
If the U.S. were to pull all of anything U.S. out of the Middle East, the Middle East would still get what they want through Germany, France, China and Russia. And, the Middle East would still war on Israel.
And, as long as the U.N. and other Communistic Countries supply the Middle East with WMD and other armaments, the U.S. will be in the Middle East (even though the U.S. sold some weapons and other information to the Middle East) to control the flow of WMD.

Perhaps you can write a little letter to the terrorist insurgents and tell them to leave the new government alone and let them grow and stabilize. Tell the terrorist insurgents to quit blowing up and murdering innocent people. They are really cutting into the progress we are making. I've seen where we're 50% complete on our rebuilding mission. The Iraqi security forces are growing every day. When the Iraqi President calls our President and says, "Hey man, we're looking good, we'll take it from here", then we (the coalition) will leave. That is how we can make the war end and bring our troops home.

Have a neighborhood watch to know your neighbors and find the terrorist. In world war two, block wardens checked the neighborhoods for lights. We do very little to help the effort. If we had good leadership in our elected officials we would be driving slower to save fuel and checking for terrorist in the neighborhoods. It is that easy. The other things we do, except for going into Iraq, are good also; but can never succeed without help from all all the people.

Surrender to the enemy and let our soldiers down.
In other words - prove that all your claims that you 'support the troops' are lies.
The fact of the matter is that the _only_ people who can defeat us in Iraq is the anti-war crowd.
And if you guys win and you stab the troops in the back - who is going to fight for you next time?

The war cannot end, now. We can properly train, equip, and support the iraq military. This will help speed the process.

You can't. You are fighting a terrorist insurgence, thus an invisible enemy. How can you end a war when you A) have no idea who the enemy is and, B) have no way of knowing when you have eradicated the enemy, or if that is even a possibility.

Why would we want to do that? The elected government of Iraq said they need two more years. Why should we not help them?

That is the stupidest question ever. Why don't we re-word it a little so that the question effects you directley. "Why does my boyfriend always make sure that I get off? Why can't he get me all hot and bothered and ready to do this and then stop? Right in the middle without resolving anything?"

You could just pack up and go home. Some people call that "cut and run" some people call that retreat. But most people calling it knowing when you have had enough. But that will get you out asap.
