Minutemen were a small hand-picked elite force which were required to be highly mobile and able to assemble quickly. Minutemen were selected from militia muster rolls by their commanding officers. Typically 25 years of age or younger, they were chosen for their enthusiasm, reliability, and physical strength. Usually about one quarter of the militia served as Minutemen, performing additional duties as such. The Minutemen were the first armed militia to arrive or await a battle.
Ku Klux Klan (KKK) is the name of a number of past and present fraternal organizations in the United States that have advocated white supremacy, anti-Semitism, racism, anti-Catholicism, and nativism. These organizations have often promoted the use of terrorism, violence and acts of intimidation such as cross burning to oppress African Americans and others.
Offshoot? Obviously you are not talking about the original minutemen.

I know of people who did the minutemen deal. They were never in the KKK nor would ever be. How about looking this up: The minutemen simply alert the authorities when illegal immigrants are crossing into our country. They also provide water for those they see. There have been no reports of them mistreating those crossing.

Maybe in their original form. The ones calling themselves the minutemen nowadays aren't KKK (though some may have some of the same prejudices).

I'm a member of the minutemen, and I have had nothing to do with the KKK. I'm all for immigration....as long as it's LEGAL. I'm not prejudiced at all, but I am for guarding the borders of my country. If someone from another country can just waltz across the border, what's there to stop terrorists to do the same? If they haven't come to the US already.
