why do people do drugs when they knows it bad for there body and they know what could happen to them? i think its jsut stuiped that people do drugs and im in 8th grade and kids in my grade do drugs an di dont get why when they knows something bad could happen to them.

to escape their problems, to escape/self-medicate their neuroses, for fun, because they're bored....pick one. everyone has their own reasons, but those tend to be the big ones.
it's good you think they're stupid, stay away from them, and from people who do them.

Because they have "try anything once" mentality. the problem is that people still dont classify ciggs and alcohol as :"drugs" i hear so many kids say "i dont do drungs" then go to a party and get $hitty on vodka till they puke. Some substances spark areas of your mind that you dont use much and makes for a very enlightening experience.

Somtimes it to be with the in crowd, to fit in. Other times it to escape reality. Some people don't know how to deal with depression, ups and downs, bad relationships, unhappy home life, etc. Drugs takes them out of reality and for them that brings them joy even it it kills them.

I think people take drugs because they are searching for God. They're searching for something better, something that helps comfort them and they're so stupid they think drugs will get them what they need. Which it won't. Sounds like you got a good head on your shoulders! Be strong!
