I hope you all don't think I'm an atheist or something, because I'm Catholic. That's what I was baptized as and I have faith. I just don't like it when people talk about what they believe in when it wasn't even asked of them. I guess it makes me uncomfortable because even though I go to church, my knowledge of the bible is pretty bad. I don't want to feel stupid for not knowing what the heck is being said to me. I guess this was a stupid question. =(

I had a group of Christian's hanging outside of my college one day. They had to stay a certain distance away from the school because it's public. Soon it started to rain and they decided to move their business right next to the doors so they wouldn't get wet. I was offended because there was no way to avoid them and I have no comeback literature because my religion doesn't care what your religion is. We don't convert and don't want to be converted to any thing else. I tried talking one of them into moving away from the door and back down to the side walk like he was supposed to but he ignored my comment and went into his sales pitch. No one else complained and the garbage cans were full of bibles at the end of the day. None of them had even heard of animism before. I was insulted and uncomfortable all day long. I wish they could just be happy with their beliefs and not so concerned about mine.

There are a portion of people in the the Americas, and the Middle East, who want to push their religion on the entire planet. Fundamentalists Christians and fanatical Muslims are certainly offensive, but they are also dangerous! Both are enemies of democracy.

The reason why that people do it is because they care for your soul and know what awaits those that refuse to believe in Jesus . I won't impose on you , but I will say that the creator of this world and all that's in it will be coming back to take those who believe on His son and keep His commandments , and then this world will pass away . 1st Corinthians 1:18

Religion is mental disease spread by those already infected.It results in a chronic thought debilitating delusion which is threatening to all brain life.The weak minded and gullible are especially vulnerable to this insidious illness. The infected try to lure others to join them in their particular insane asylum by asserting their fantasies as if they were fact. It is the duty of the sane and rational to counter its malevolent presence wherever the infected are trying to spread its poison.

When you are an adult and someone tries to impose their religion on you, it is your job to fight it or ignore it. When a parent or adult forces religious views on a child, it is indoctrination and cruel. You aren't being offensive, don't worry, and everyone on this site knows and expects that offensive replies will be made.

I'm a catholic but I don't actualy belive in it and I hate the way people speak about it as if it's proven fact...they could just say "I belive..."

Yes, the Muslims do it all the time by crying "We don't hate and kill", but they do it just the same.
