The Bible is pure evil, for 2 millenia it has been used to persecute gay people ...I will no longer humour Christians in their evil adoration of this phoney piece of trash...if you are gay then the bible is the equivalent of Hitlers Mein Campf...it is spiritual poison and morally corrupt.

Christ Jesus could have called ten thousand Angels to rescue Him from dieing on the cross but Thank full He did not. That was the whole purpose of Him Dieing, to save a dieing world that had no future because of Adam and Eve disobedience (they ate of the fruit that God commanded them not to eat)

Because we are God's creation and we are created in His righteousness, God the Father had a plan to save the whole world through His only Son Christ Jesus. If only those who do not believe receive His love, then they will know that only Christ Jesus can save.
And I don't think people assume that Jesus will save us, we already know that He has saved us because of His shed blood.

(I believe you missed the rest of the story). On the third day He rose again..And today He is ALIVE and is seated at the right hand of God the Father.

It's not a matter of whether or not he "could" or "could not" have saved himself; he chose to GIVE himself. The whole point of him coming to earth as a man was to die for our sins. To not have died on the cross would've defeated his whole purpose.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean about the second part or what point you're trying to make. God certainly was never angry at Jesus; if he was/is ever upset, it is about sin (not his people; the sin itself), and Jesus was without sin.

John has been proven historically accurate on the details and descriptions of the places and events that he described in his books through modern archeological findings. So, if his testimony can be relied upon for the small details in his books, we can safely trust that the most important and noteworthy claims he made are accurate as well.

i could of saved him self and killed us all if he wanted to. but instead he had a heart full of compassion and had an incredibe amount of loveing mercy on us all. he died so that we could live. his return is symbolic. God can never be defeated. not even death can hold him down. he will always return and his next return is coming soon. i don't know when, no one does and no one can. but i would be getting prepared man. i know i am. i don't wana burn eternally in hell being tormented day in and day out. if i can choose between paradise and daily torment....i think i'll take the paradise.

NOTHING in the Bible is bs. Jesus is God bc God IS 3 in one. he is The Father(God)The Son(Jesus)and The Holy Spirt(his guidance aka your consince)...it may SOUND crazy but God is God. he can do what ever he wants. if you don't understand something in the bible it's probibly because the bible is SO deep. you have to think about EVERYTHING you read because there's a deeper meaning than that printed on the paper.

hope i answered your question.

The Lord Jesus Christ didn't save himself because He came to die for your sins.He rose again the third for you justification. To bad we still ihave gnorant people like you that make fun of Him even today. One day when you stand before Him it will be a different matter. If you reject what He did for you then hell awaits you. Revelation 20: 11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. Revelation 20: 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Revelation 20: 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. Revelation 20: 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Revelation 20: 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

This is a pointless question; you basically answered yourself. If you don't believe Jesus was God, then, obviously, you have no choice but to believe he was just some guy who loved to cause trouble, and got crucified. We believe He saves us because he came to earth as a man, lived life with every temptation, just like us, and still never sinned. In other words, he earned his passge to heaven. Because Jesus had no blame, the devil had no claim on his soul, and he could actually exchange his own suffering for our sins. One by one, he worked the off. So, our souls stand ready to be rescued, but we have to admit that we needit first.

He could have saved himself, he could have just run away, but he stayed in the Garden, and waited for them to come and get him. And Jesus saves us BECAUSE of God, through him we can come to God. And to belive the Bible, is to believe ALL of the Bible was inspired by God, making John as crediable as the rest. But something tells me you wouldn't know about that. And the Jesus is God passages are ALL over the Bible, not just John, but you probably didnt know that either.

maybe because the bible never tells the whole story. ever notice that most of the passages matthew luke james and John never say the same thing? It seems like there are pieces of the puzzle that have been missing for centuries and most people are too entrenched into the concept of a savior to care if any of it was accurate or true. People fear the afterlife too much to question the bible and most are too ignorant to question the God they serve for fear that he will destroy them. I know that christianity operates on fear because i used to be one.

Because people don't want to think for themselves. They want to be told what to think and not have to work their brains at all. So, power-hungry thinking people put themselves into leadership positions and tell the non-thinkers what to think in order to keep them in a subsurvient position. Thus, religious leaders bring the idea forward that Jesus will save these lemming-people, giving them hope and removing their will to seek a better life or revolt.

Jesus isn't dead, he is alive and guess what, he saved you from dying too under one condition. Accept him.

EarthAngel you obviously haven't read the bible for yourself. If you have you would know that fornication is sin regardless if it is commited by homosexuals or heterosexuals. Funny how rumors and lies can spread so fast but the good Word, no one wants to listen to.

You as well as so many others ask the same lame questions over and over again. At some point in time, one would think you and your ilk would get tired of hearing those pea-sized pieces of nothing you call your brains rattle around in those virtually empty buckets you call your heads. I wish you all would stop that and ask some serious and intelligent questions, if you are able.
