i wanna move but i have no family or friends out there, any suggestions on meeting people.........?i'm gonna try and move for college but housing is expensive!.....i would ask to stay at a friends place .............but as i know no-1.....?help?...

I moved to California 5 years ago and I didn't know anyone here. I made friends fast at work and out in public. I am a friendly person so I would just ask people how to find places, where to get a haircut and stuff like that. It was easy. You will learn to adapt!

California is VERY expensive to live in - especially in the LA area. You should visit out here before you decide to move. The traffic here is wretched and the people are phony. Meeting people isn't hard, but meeting quality people who aren't phony is another thing. Everyone in the LA area is a wannabe writer, actor, actress, model, etc - it's ridiculous.
There are websites where you can look from roomates in California- that would probably be your best bet if you really want to move out here, but don't know anyone.

California is Very Money! if you want to go for college i suggest the links below. it is super easy to meet friends out here. and over time youll love it. some people are phony indeed but good friends are out there.
