I go to church to be a part of something bigger than myself. I feel a sense of community there--all of us united for the same purpose: to praise God and all that He has done for us. I feel that by going to church, I can focus on living a better life through the teachings of the Bible. Although many people believe the Bible is a work of fiction, I believe that it contains stories inspired by God to teach people how to live a better, more fulfilling life.

When I was in college, I gave up church. I thought I didn't need it and that I could have a relationship with God without going to church. However, I didn't feel at peace with myself or with those around me. I was searching for something to make my life happier and more meaningful. It wasn't until I returned to church that my life became more as I wanted it to be. I believe that happened because I began attending church more regularly.

To assemble with my other like minded brothers and sisters, a place where we encourage, share and pray with one another. The building is not the church, we are. The bible says we are lively stones fitted together to form the church. Anywhere where people who love the Lord gather together that's the church.

that's a good question! i think its so we can fell like there is more to life and that there's a higher power watching over us. An so if something goes wrong we can say o its because i didn't go to church Sunday. Or we have some 1 to blame what happen to us on. An it could also it can be that ppl wont to be in good company. An wont to hear the day sermon.
But i go so that i can hear the sermon and because i belive in god!

I like the architecture and find the different interpretations of God's Majesty through this expression very moving. I feel the rejoice! I also enjoy weddings and sadly attend funeral services in this venue. I find it difficult to pass by a church bake sale too! There is nothing to compare delicious baked goods to, now that's worshiping.

I go to church to worship Jesus. I love my church, and i have a wonderful Pastor. He preaches the true word of God. Church helps me to learn more about the Lord, and understand the Bible more. I love getting spiritual fed. I also love being around my Sisters, and Brothers in Christ. Church is my favorite place to be. I Love to worship God.

This question is amusing considering we don't go to "church". We are the church therefore you do'nt go to yourself on sunday. We go to fellowship on sunday in the house of God. I go because of my young sons, I want them to be around other christian children as often as possible. My wife goes because she enjoys it, after all she is the daughter of a preacher. But it is a fact, that if all true believers were to read the bible with commitment everyday, we wouldn't need to fellowship at all, revival would break out and christianity in it's true form would spread like fire throughout the globe.

The original idea of church was a place where like minded people could share their vision of God and heaven. Today, though, it's an excuse for a certain church to pick your pocket for the 10% of your income they say you owe them.

I only go to church when my wife whines and complains (couple times a year). I hate every second of it, and use it as a time to analyze just how much of a brainwashing session it really is.

For fellowship with other people who believe as I do. People all through time have sought out others who believe as they do. It strengthens my faith and helps me to grow in my faith as I study God's Word with others. The church I go to is filled with wonderful people who's company I enjoy and who are solid in God's Word. In a fallen world, it's important to be reminded of what is truly important.

That is no mystery. I go to church for several reasons. I hear the word of God and I try to use it in my daily life. I am cleansed of my faults, receiving peace of mind. I receive the Holy Communion to be with God, and I talk with God about my problems, asking Him to help me to solve them
