I've read many comments made on Yahoo to which I did not agree. That is my right just as it is the poster's right to post.

I have reported a couple (but they were ones not appropriate for children to see). I don't care what anyone says; they can't change who I am. I personally don't care for Rush... So I don't listen much.

The people who report comments that aren't appearing to incite violence or hatred are simply immature and insecure about their own beliefs.

If you only look at one side of the coin, then you don't know the whole story. Ignorance is what is dividing our country, not politics.

I'm against it unless it is REALLY egregious. Good people have been kicked off the first time they said something truly negative, and sometimes when they hadn't done that, due to imposters.

I think there is a level of nastiness that shouldn't go on, but I think it is rare it is exceeded to the level of needing to be shut down. Many use reporting to only shut down the people they oppose when people on their own side of an issue may say equally nasty things.

Kelly, the ONLY TIME that I report anyone is when it's the dumba$$ imposters, in which case they need to be reported because they use so much profanity. Children could be on here. Of course, the imposters are ALWAYS the criminals or supporters of illegal trespassers which goes to show you they are low and cowardly. Other than that, I don't report people.

Sometimes i report people. There is some weird guy who creeps around her claiming to be a child molester and saying some really sick things about little kids. But, as a rule, if it isn't REALLY bad, I let it go. I also report imposters, as I think they are immature and silly, and should not be allowed to impune other people's character. I do it for everyone, not just people I agree with. Because I think it is stupid and immature.

I reported once--a sex pervert telling about his daughter in very very graphic terms.
I do think some abuse the report button-what if we all did that -our fingers would wear out.
I don't understand why this one was--"everyone is doing the bird" (not mine) was reported." It was a song-it made me laugh-nothing in it was dirty if you knew the song and where it can't from, not mean at all.
So yes some get carried away because they don't like the comment. Others here we often disagree-sometimes very unfriendly but I don't see them using it. They behave better.

Princess-Impostors should be your right.

I don't care enough about any one here to report them. I have better things to do. However there may be such a thing as freedom of speech but I don't believe that yahoo as to observe that. They have the right to kick any one out they want to. Other people have the right to not be verbally attacked. If people weren't such asses no one would get reported.

If somebody on here writes about having sex with children, then you're damn right I am going to report them. If they talk about killing somebody, then I report them. Don't you think it would be a crime not to report them if they were telling the truth. I do agree that reporting people for nonthreatening remarks is childish. Just because you don't agree with someone's legal remarks does not give anyone the right to complain about them.
