None that I have been on.. (I'm an EMT.) You would think for their cost (approx. USD$200K) that they would come with it.. but I've found it's usually the 2nd EMT on the rig (the non-driver) is usually the one that is navigating.

The full-time ambulance service in our area doesn't have gps. They have a 3 ring binder full of maps. However, my volunteer fire dept. ambulances do have gps. I really think that all of the ambulances could benefit from it. All of the firetrucks in this area(both career and volunteer) have a networked computer in the cab that is gps enabled. It shouldn't be too hard or expensive to put them in.

They EMS units in our area do...mainly for setting up landing zones for helicopters
