I am a Christian, have been my entire life. However; there have been periods in my life when I have not always lived a CHirst-like life. You know, partying, sex without marriage...nothing major at all. I do however have always KNOWN somehow how that I can 'know things' before they happen; I get these feelings. I usually just dont pay any attention to them, but the closer I get with Chirst, the MORE I know things! I have said things to other Christians and they've told me I just answered a prayer for them. I know there are gifts of the spirit....maybe this is one of them. I want to use this abiltiy, to make it stronger. Isn't this the same thing as a witch, or a psyhic?

F.Y.I. I have re-devoted my life to CHrist for over 4 years now. I do NOT, I repeat, I DO NOT study any occult or anything other than the word of God!!! My children do NOT know anything other than CHirst. Again, I said I did those things while I was NOT walking with Christ, and YES, those things are all wrong....I meant nothing like crime, drugs etc. Again, I am NOW walking with Christ.

I don't buy all the bible sh*t, myself, but a lot of historical evidence and whatnot supports the idea of jesus having done some remarkable things some time back - like many well-known people of our history, he lives on in the sense that many human minds harbor his memory.
Me, I like to take it one step further and say the spirit lingers - I've percieved it/him... Having a powerful spirit embedded in your mind may really help your senses reach beyond their normal limits...
At least you're not so dogmatic as to view your psychic inclination as some sort of sinful witchcraft :)
Spirits DO help, and jesus is not the only one... He chills with Buddha, Muhamed and all the others

Do not let their narrow views corrupt a powerful gift. You're a big girl. You can tell right from wrong. Especially with the good guys on your side :)

If you are a Christian and if you have the Holy Spirit directing you as a Christian, then there is no way a demonic spirit of sorcery or witchcraft can inhabit the same body. If you have one, you won't have the other.
You did say, however----and I quote----"You know, partying, sex without marriage...nothing major at all. " If you truly believe that these things are "nothing major," then you do have a real problem. I would pray that you could re-dedicate your life to Christ and ask for forgiveness for having pushed away the Holy Spirit from directing, instructing, and leading you in right and wrong behavior.
Do you have children? Are they also studying astrology, or witchcraft, or "clairvoyance"? I am not trying to be rude---only answer your question as honestly and accurately as possible. If you have given in to these feelings, you may be emotionally troubled, in an acute depression, or you may have introduced some really bad things into your home that could affect your whole family.
I will pray that you will find your way back to you faith before you completely blaspheme the Holy Spirit and commit the only sin that will not be forgiven.

No, not at all. That is not witchcraft in any way,shape,form or fashion. That little voice you don't listen to like you were talking about, is the Holy Spirit telling you what is right and wrong. I got Saved at the age of 16, but Haven't always lived it either, it's hard! But through daily prayer and bible reading and working on your personal relationship with the Lord you can over come anything this world has to offer. Just keep praying and if you'd like I'll pray with you and for you on a Daily basis. Also, if you go to the book of Colossians Chapter 3 it gives us the rules for living a Godly life.

Partying and unmarried sex are not anti-Christ acts. Don't let the dogma of Christianity block your understanding of the teachings of Master Jesus. It's not clear why the Roman Church and Christianity don't express the teachings of Master Jesus the Christ, particularly the equality of women and that no priest is needed between you and your salvation.
Remember, Master Jesus the Christ said, "Be like me." You have all the inherent God given abilities that Master Jesus has. The difference is you didn't study the Word of God, Natural Laws, as taught by the Great Essene Spiritual Masters, in a 1000 week course. Master Jesus did. He took those teaching and developed himself into the most enlightened person in Earth's history.
We are all eternal Spirits having a temporary human experience on Earth. We all have the intrinsic ability to channel spiritual communications. In humans, it naturally comes easier to some, others don't even know what it is and others work hard to develop their abilities to become good Spiritual mediums.

They will give you the resources and tools you need to develop your own Spirituality. It's all about personal responsibility. You need to know the Natural Laws that properly conduct spiritual mediumship and how to abide by them to produce the desired results without harm.

well for one, make sure your gift is from God. that kind of gift will come from God or the devil. talk to you Pastor, and pray and fast and God will give you the answers you seek. second people say i have given my life to Christ when i was 14,23,35, etc. well i am sorry if you were a true convert and truly baptised in the Holy Spirit you weren't have fallen away from Christ. when you were living the way you said you were, you weren't livng for Christ at those times. As Christian we will go through some hard times, but you don't give in to the temptation. God Bless.

First off, none of us can really be said to live a Christ-like life, ever; if we could, Christ wouldn't have ever needed to live. That said, if you've really got some sort of gift, you're not to blame; just don't encourage it. The days of miracles and prophets ended, at least in the massive majority, when Christ came; they were no longer necessary. Trying to advance a supernatural ability is going to lead you to witchcraft, even if you only mean good; pray for God to remove temptation from you, and throw your troubles on Jesus.

This is not the same thing as being a witch....but is kind of like a psyhic i guess. If you are predicting things that are going to happen to other people or that are going to happen somewhere in the world, and you have no control over those things that you are predicting to happen, then that is some type of gift i would think.

i am psychic ( well everyone is ) but i am a practising developing psychic .. and i pray to god ..
i am a wonderful human being and live a very good life with high moral standards and positivity
i also know of some witches and they too are beautiful people who would never use what they do for anything but good ...
being psychic is not about a gift , or being closer to god ... its about using the part of your brain that so many have denied for centuries ..
we all have intuition and some more heightened by others ... you may feel your heightened at times where you are closer in your religion as your mind is not taken over by all the materialistic worries of life .. leaving you more open to using parts of your brain that have lay dormant

Having psychic abilities does not make it witchcraft. I believe that's what some of the prophets had. I do believe that everyone (but me apparently) has a gift of the spirit, so perhaps this is your gift. You may not like the word "psychic", but it really doesn't imply magic, its just an abiltiy to see what others can't.

I have no doubt in your gift or your faith but I wonder if the two are interconnected. My mother also knows things like what people will name their children or who's calling on the phone or who an unmarked gift is for. She gets feelings when bad things are about to happen. She is not a spiritual woman and I did not inherit these things from her but my sister did. My sister is an agnostic. What if the praying is merely focusing your mind to better use your skill?

What are you confused about if its in you and it helps people its a gift from God! Don't be caught up with to much Doctrine. Christ was crucified because he strayed away from Old Jewish doctrine. The brutal slaying was justified by the same ones who said they were doing the work of God!
