I have asked many many members this and no one could come up with an answer, so does anybody have a CLEAR and actual response to this :
When getting married in the temple the mormon couple is "sealed" together for eternity and any children they later have are automatically sealed to them. Then as many mormons I have seen - they get divorced, and marry again and get sealed to now this next person/ spouse, ...also for all eternity...! So in heaven as they say the families that were "sealed together" on earth will be together forever that way. now tell me How does that work when the divorced couple has NEW spouses sealed to them... SINCE it has the words for ETERNITY then they CANT be unsealed?????
Who can tell me this? Anyone?

When you are sealed in the temple you cannot just be divorced and resealed. If you have been sealed in the temple and then divorced, when you are ready to be married again you can present your situation to church authorities and you may or may not be granted what is referred to unofficially as a "temple divorce" in which your first sealing is dissolved. These cannot be obtained easily. If one is obtained then you can be sealed to a new spouse.

My dads a mormon, so all I can tell you is what he was taught as a child, since he no longer practices.

Basically, you get one big happy family that way, same as if one spouse dies. However, some couples will NOT be allowed to re-marry and be sealed in the temple AFTER a divorce, only after a death. When my dad was practicing, no divorced couples could be married in the temple, and sealed, but that may have changed from 30 years ago.

Did you know, other Mormons can be sealed FOR you. My grandparents on my dads side, acted on my and my first husbands behalf, and had us "sealed" in a ceremony. And once we divorced, and I had more children, they "sealed" them too. Odd, huh?

Since this is a human edict it is not hard to break.
Every religious group puts a "spin" on their particular cult so that it matches what the underlying motives of the leaders are.
This is no different from the Mormons whom I talk about in my Book "The Plain Truth About God-101"(what the church doesn't want you to know)

Even though the Mormons have been somewhat integrated into mainstream religious movements of North America, it has not been without a few impediments to their beliefs and practices.

The state of Utah had a lot of trouble achieving statehood due to the large Mormon population and their practice of polygamy.

In due course, (Thank the Lord!) there was suddenly a new revelation from God that banned the practice of polygamy and so Utah became a state and everybody was happy. (Except a few male members who wanted to keep their multiple wives!)

There was an answer to this dilemma. The males who were in favor of polygamy broke away from the church to form their own sects of the Mormon faith, and, although excommunicated, continue to this day in the United States and Canada.

There is a belief amongst these Mormons that men must accumulate “plural wives” in order to achieve salvation.

This is a central tenet of their faith - as opposed to the Muslims - they get their “seventy two” virgins” after salvation.
(Actually it’s really ONE seventy two year old virgin!!!)

“No wonder a lot of women think men are stupid!”

For eternity is not necessarily guaranteed. You have to continue to live worthy to have the opportunity to be together in the spirit world. A woman can be sealed to different men. A man can only be sealed to one woman at a time. The sealing can be undone by Church authorities in certain conditions, like infidelity.

the way i understood it, God wil decide who the best person among the number of marriages is the best for the dead guy/gal, and then they live happiluy ever after for eternity. Heaven is not one big palce as the Bible said, it is made up of many mansions, so who knows who you will end up in or what mansion. so the best thing is have many marriages and then God will give the best for you when you die.and also, if you like a person, be sure the person has the same viruts as you have , that might just land you in the same mansion and good luck... dont say i did'nt warn you !!!

The way it has been explained to me is that if

Your spouse is not living according to the book of Mormon, you not only can get divorced, but must divorce the fallen one.

Now if you are a mormon man, even if you have remained married to a woman who had lived the book of mormon, but you are just not wanting to keep her around for eternity, after you die, you can choose wether or not you want her around, and if you dont, she is denied goddess standing and cannot repopulate your new planet after you have been made GOD.

I didnt say this made sense, I just said this is how they explain it.

Mt 22:28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
Mt 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
Mt 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
THE MORMONS ARE INDEED A FALSE CHURCH
you are going to at some time or other attack the Mormon doctrines, or all you are doing is in vain. Like where did the book of Mormon come from? Joseph Smith said he translated it from old manuscripts, but all we have is his translated documents, were are the old manuscripts, no one but Joseph Smith clams to have saw them, this is putting a lot of trust in John Smith, and his ability to rightly translate the old manuscript, talk about blind faith. As for polygamy, some of Gods prophets did have more that one wife, but was this Gods will or the will of man? I cannot find a commandment of God say thou must have more that one wife. I can find in the Bible were God made a helper suitable for man, helper not helpers. Genesis 2:18 The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him." (NIV) Genesis 2:21-25 So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man's ribs and closed up the place with flesh. 22 Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. 23 The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman,' for she was taken out of man." 24 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh. 25 The man and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame. (NIV) I cannot read into this more that one wife, a woman not women.

David committed both adultery and murder, and of all things Abraham married his sister, is this to all right for us to practiced today? And what of animal sacrifices are you stilling practicing that today?
There is not a problem with a person not drinking, or drinking do not be a drunken, it was wine not grape juice it is a personal chose, not a commandment of God, and no commandment from the church should be given. Jesus Christ is the head of the Church. No knowing what day of the week is the seventh is a cop out, there are to ways you can know what day the Sabbath is, God doing the Exodus out of Egypt left no doubt to when the seventh day of the week was. Read Exodus 16 Chapter, one day without food was more that enough to teach the nation of Israel the Sabbath day. Using ancient calendar we can prove the seventh day of the week. Jews can be found all over the earth keeping the same day. Even your first day of the week is proof the days of the week are in tack, You are not guessing when the first day of the weeks is the Mormon Church knows the seven day cycle. Just think if God cannot keep His Sabbath on the right day, how powerfully is your God. Why is the Sabbath or the first day of the a big deal, God law, the forth commandment, makes it a big deal, being sincere does not make it right keeping the wrong day, when you know the right day. It all comes down to what does the Bible say, or not say, not what man wants. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV) You will perish or have everlasting life. This is how God showed His love for humanity. How can we show God we love Him? There is only one way. John 14:15 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. (KJV) But in the end you are wasting you time. She has all the answers from the book of Mormon

I can't believe you take the "MORON" Religion seriously.. Their name tells it all. "The Church Or Latter Day Saints." This would indicate to me that, they decided to change whatever religion they had been taught, and anointed themselves the latter day saints. I grew up in Utah, so I already know of this new found religion. Which is bull. Bottom line, they changed the way to worship to their own liking. But they are very wealthy. I remember the Mormon Missionaries knocking on our door every Saturday. They were trying to brain wash us.. We were heathens as far as they were concerned. We were and still are non denominational.. I'll never get the last five minutes of my life back.

It's not just Mormons, marriage is abused by most of America. What I really don't get is Polygamy; how can a man give his all to a woman, really give his all, then give his all to another woman without taking away from the first wife? He has to spread his love around. He may even love them all equally, but he can't give them all what they need, because one of the other wives might need him too. It's a twisted system.

If Mormons believe in sealing they can believe in breaking the seal. You are getting hung up on the words. Too semantical.
