Last night I sang rock a bye baby & my son had his first bed wetting accident & I realized this may have to do with singing him a song with the word baby in it. Also I dont like the message it sends. Is there any songs that dont refer to him being a baby & without negative story lines?

I have a CD. It's called Storytime: 52 Favorite Lullabies, Nursery Rhymes, and Whimsical Songs. There are a lot of lullabies on it. Some include: All the Pretty Little Horses, All Through the Night, Armenian Lullaby, Bye Bye Baby, Hush Little Baby, Hush My Child, Lullaby and Goodnight (Brahm's Lullaby), Mozart's Lullaby, Rock-a-Bye Baby, Sweetly Sleep, Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, Puff the Magic Dragon, etc... If you don't like the words to Rock-a-Bye Baby (I don't either.) you could change them. Make up words. Kids love that. And the tune for that song is a classic lullaby. I personally doubt the bedwetting accident had anything to do with the song choice. Young children do have accidents. It's a part of growing up. Some kids wet the bed at age 10. They just don't wake up in time to go to the bathroom.
