we can't return it. we'd rather not "keep it in the circuit", and we don't want to throw it away.

Perhaps you would like to buy a display cabinet (those long tall wooden/glass cabinets) and display your wedding crystals in there, placed somewhere in the lounge area where guests may come and sit down and look at your pretty display of crystals. YOu would even like to consider shopping for some cute crystal animals to add in there too. You can fix a light bulb too in the cabinet so when ever you feel like a bit of glamour, you can switch on your cabinet light and watch those lovely things glimmer in your lounge area.

Keep it a few years at least. Certain pieces can be used to decorate--say as containers for candy, flowers, Christmas tree globes or seashells, or fruit. They can be left in their boxes till you want to use them--don't have to be on display. Crystal is considered by some a collector's item. After a few years, you can give them as gifts to others, assuming they don't have your name on them. Otherwise, glass can always be recycled.

If i were you I'd keep it because you may need it later on down the road. say like you have a really nice dinner party.and you want it to be the best party ever. then that would be the time to uese what you're callin useless crystal.

Keep it! Keep it in a safe place in the original box that it came in. On your 25th, or even 50th wedding anniversary, get it out and celebrate how many years the two of you have been in love!

Split it 50/50. Save the hassle of fighting over it later.
